Hi there, I'm Molly, a wife, and mother of four young children. I'm thrilled to share with you how a little planning and preparation can make your life not only easier but also healthier. A few years ago, I attended culinary school at Le Cordon Bleu, where I picked up some fantastic techniques that I'm excited to share with you. These techniques will help you achieve the best flavor possible in your dishes.
My menus are intentionally designed to minimize food waste by utilizing ingredients efficiently throughout the week. While it's not always 100% waste-free, it's a goal I'm committed to achieving.
I'll be sharing recipe collections, each with its own theme or focus. These collections will contain four weeks' worth of recipes and corresponding shopping lists. I'll be continuously creating new collections and recipe lists because I love experimenting with new dishes and drawing inspiration from chefs and restaurants that I admire. I'm also eager to hear what you'd like to see from me.
Over the next 4 weeks, I'll be cooking from “Eat Well, Live Well: Global Recipes.” This particular collection is comprised of recipes that are inspired by the Mediterranean diet and global flavors. Check out my post on the benefits of the Mediterranean diet. I don’t always eat healthy, but every now and then its nice to break with routine.
I have thoughtfully written these recipes and included some details that other recipes assume that the cook knows. These are the details that can make or break your dish.
If you're interested in cooking my menu for the week, simply print the weeks recipes and you’ll find a grocery list at the bottom. With the grocery list in hand, I create an order in my favorite grocery store app, allowing me to either pick up my items or have them conveniently delivered to my doorstep. Then, whenever I decide to recreate that week's recipes, it's as easy as adding those items to my cart from my saved list, doing a quick inventory check of my pantry and household staples, and hitting "order." The key to making this system work seamlessly is to create a new list for each week within your app, labeling it accordingly, so you can use it over and over again. I've named my list for this week “Eat Well, Live Well: Global Recipes, Week 1." Additionally, I recommend printing and storing the recipes in a folder for quick reference. Personally, I keep my recipes saved in a digital file on my desktop, which I can easily access from my phone. This way, I can choose which list to cook from for the week from anywhere, but I prefer to have printed recipes in front of me while I'm in the kitchen.
Thank you for joining me on this culinary journey, and I look forward to sharing delicious recipes, helpful tips, and inspiring ideas with you.
