A collection of some of my favorite recipes- some comfort some and global delights.
Shrimp Chowder
Serve with warm French bread
Chicken Soup with Rice, Carrots, and Kale
Crispy Chicken Flautas with Cool Smashed Avocado
The next recipe takes me back to my days in Memphis, TN, where I first discovered flautas made with flour tortillas. They were the most glorious thing I had ever tasted. I found myself making the trek once a week just to indulge in these flautas. Here's my best attempt at recreating those fabulous flautas.
BBQ Brisket Sandwiches and Cole Slaw
What a delightful meal to prepare for your family before leaving the house for 3-4 hours. We attend church, and lunch always poses a challenge. With several small children, dining out for brunch isn't as leisurely as one might think. However, this recipe is ideal. I can manage some prep work, even the night before, set it in the oven, and voilà—upon returning home, there's scarcely 20 minutes of work remaining to present an impressive lunch, primarily allowing the sauce to cool enough for blending. I hope it enhances your day, whether your family embarks on an outing or attends a sporting practice; this is a meal everyone enjoys.
I've received rave reviews for my coleslaw ever since my college days which encouraged me to continue cooking. I sincerely hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
